This structure federating the various ELA associations was an obvious step.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/ela-asso.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/logo-ELA-international.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"76\" height=\"59\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elainternational.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #e41871;\">ELA International website<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>ELA International\u2019s mission is to <span style=\"color: #e41871;\"><strong>develop national associations<\/strong> <\/span>by providing them with help and support, pooling resources and tools for action, and sharing good practices. Above all, it will open up new avenues of research, while caring about patients\u2019 comfort. ELA International may undertake any steps that initiate and facilitate medico-social projects and research and development projects on leukodystrophies and myelin repair, within the framework of international partnerships. <span style=\"color: #e41871;\"><strong>Developing research against leukodystrophies<\/strong><\/span> will depend on the ability to gather large numbers of patients in homogeneous cohorts and to pool substantial resources, because the sums needed to launch human clinical trials are greater than the cost of laboratory experiments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ELA International is a non-profit European Economic Interest Grouping.
