Every week in Europe, between 20 and 40 children (3 to 6 in France) are born with leukodystrophy.
\nThese are genetic diseases that attack the nervous system and progressively impair all vital functions. For 26 years, ELA (European Leukodystrophies Association) has been helping French and international research laboratories better understand their mechanisms. 511 research programmes have thus been funded, and the results obtained now make it possible to test unprecedented treatments that carry hope. But the fight is not yet won. And we must keep helping the families who face heavy expenses (wheelchairs, home equipment\u2026). That is why ELA is returning to television to appeal, with the complicity of our ambassador Zin\u00e9dine Zidane, to donors’ generosity.<\/p>\n
For this new campaign, he is staged no longer in his role as a player, but for the first time in his role as a coach\u2026 addressing an incredible team\u2026 Has Zidane secretly found a bench again?
