Match de Gala au profit d’ELA pour les 100 ans du FC Gasperich.
ELA Luxembourg est extrêmement honoré d’avoir été sollicité pour cette initiative alliant sport et solidarité.
Frank Bleesz, à l’initiative de ce projet:
„We are eight friends with a passion for mountain biking and a wish to test ourselves to a new limit. How far could we go? Which race? Spain was top of the list with The Goods Non Stop Madrid-Lisboa; one of the Spain’s most challenging mountain bike races.
It took us no time to decide that we will take part in this race with two teams of three riders each.
To add purpose, we want to embrace a charity organisation for the ride. The European Leukodystrophy Organisation (ELA) seems a perfect match for us as this organisation fights what is the very core of a biker: motor function. It is sad that every year millions of people are diagnosed with leukodystrophy disorder facing a degenerative disease that leads to decreased motor function, muscle rigidity, and eventual degeneration of sight and hearing. And kids are not the exception. Therefore, the goal of riding to showcase the fight of kids (and adults) to keep their mobility adds scope to our challenge.“
